Free for the gallery. Paid for the graph.
Everything a gallery needs to run costs nothing: contacts, inventory, fairs and exhibitions, documents, who sees what, the Artlogic import and the CSV export. What only this system can do, search the graph and say what to do next, is premium: from $30 a month, scaling with use.

Premium is priced by use rather than by a tier chosen in advance: the base covers a small gallery in a quiet month, and the price follows how much is used. What counts as use will be published here before anybody is invoiced for it.
Why free
A price on the records keeps the records out.
A gallery system is only as good as what the gallery puts into it, and a price on the records is a reason to leave half of them in a spreadsheet. So the records cost nothing: every contact, every work, every fair, every file that leaves the building, and every interaction between them, written down as it happens. The more of the gallery’s life is in there, the more the graph has to work with.
The graph is what is paid for, because the graph is what nobody else has. Which collectors bought at which fair, who has gone quiet, who should be sent what before the next opening: a filing cabinet cannot answer those, and a price on them is a price on something worth paying for.
Leaving, and stepping down
The export is the same on both plans.
Every export is a CSV you build: choose the columns, read the rows on screen, take the file. It is a page in the system on Free and on Premium alike, and never a request to support.
Stepping down from Premium loses the search over the graph and the suggestions, and nothing else. The interactions stay on the records where they were written, so a gallery that steps back up finds the graph as it left it.
Questions
The ones a price raises.
- Is Free really free?
- Yes. No trial that ends, no card to start. The records, the documents, the import and the export are the gallery’s at no cost.
- Does Free include the Artlogic import?
- Every column of it, keyed on the ids you already have, so a second run updates rather than duplicates. How the import works.
- What does “scales with use” mean?
- Premium starts at $30 a month for a gallery of ordinary size and rises with how much the graph is used, rather than by a tier chosen in advance. What counts as use will be published here before anybody is invoiced for it.
- Can a free gallery try the graph?
- The public demo runs the graph and the insights on a synthetic gallery, with the sign-in printed on the door. Open it.
- What happens to my data if I stop paying?
- Nothing. The records and every interaction on them stay, and the export is the same page it always was. Only the search over the graph and the suggestions stop.
- How do I start?
- Write to us. The system is opening to a small number of galleries, and the first thing you will see is your own inventory, imported from the export you already have.
